- Choose beef that is bright red, with fine and smooth fibers, beautiful marbling, and light yellow fat. It should have a characteristic beefy aroma.

How to Make Beefsteak with Fried Egg

Prepare and Marinate the Beef
After patting the supermarket-bought beef dry with paper towels, use a meat tenderizer, mallet, or hammer to pound the beef until tender.
Next, add the tenderized beef along with 1 teaspoon of minced garlic, 5 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1.5 tablespoons of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1/3 tablespoon of pepper, and 1 tablespoon of whisky to a bowl. Mix well on both sides to coat the beef evenly with the marinade.
Then, cover the bowl tightly with cling film and place it in the freezer for about 15 minutes to allow the beef to absorb the flavors and firm up.

Cook the Beefsteak
Place a pan on the stove and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add the sliced onions and sauté over medium heat for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
Then add the marinated beef and pan-fry both sides over medium heat for 3 minutes per side. Add 30gr of unsalted butter. Once the butter has melted, add 1 sausage, 1 piece of pate, and crack 1 egg into the pan.
